The Dr. Gavin L., Sr. and Eleanor Doughty Scholarship at Tarkio Technology Institute was created by their children to  honor Gavin and Eleanor Doughty and the contributions they have both made to the Tarkio, MO community and to Tarkio  College, Tarkio, MO. Dr. Doughty was a long-time Professor of Music at Tarkio College, A Capella Choir director, church organist and choir director, organ and piano teacher and performer and influential community builder. Eleanor was a home maker, public school teacher, Tarkio College Library cataloger and lifetime supporter of Dr. Doughty.
